Like I said earlier I pretty much feel the same way as you do. I want my spouse to be able to work for a couple of years before I think of moving back to India. But in reality having waited so many years do you think either you or myself will move back 2 years after getting the GC? Don't you think you will be tempted to wait 3 more years get the US citizenship and then move back? I have a few friends who are pretty much just waiting to get citizenship to move back. their argument is that we waited several years to get a GC and we don't want to just throw it away.
As for making H1B more humane I think it will never happen.
Most H1B holders get very good offers when they move back to their home countris after say 10 years. But the H4 spouse who spent al these years rotting in the USA again have to continue rotting....Their prospects are dim. So I want to get my GC. Let my spouse work here for couple of years and move back to my Own country.
So why not H1b made more HUMANE ?;) ;) ;)

My friend sent me through wire transfer. I think bank was HDFC.
He had't get RBI clearance or anything and he sent under maintenance category or something like not sure.
It was done in 2005 not sure rules are changed lately.

I really wish all the desi companies,who get people from India,and put them on bench to find a project ,be banned. They screwed H1B, and in turn all the deserving H1B candidates.

Do you know how much more the premium would be for this product compared to regular term? I am guessing a lot more. In that case whole life is better where the cash value generated would pay much more after 30 years based on a low 5.5 - 6% estimated annual return. But of course it is for folks who will stay in US at least 15 years+ because after 15 yeras the Cash Value could itself pay for the permium and you do not have to pay any more premuims unless you wish to boost the Cash Value further.
Its not a lot more.. about $200 more per year.. ... but atleast you get back all your money..

Thats what my Question is......how i am gonna prove it i paid 3k for my H1. They are deducting 500 (for my H1) everymonth from my paycheck in the name of CASH ADVANCE DEDUCTION.
I really want to teach them a lesson....so that they stop messing many vulenerable people like me who go to them every year. Could somebody tell me how i am gonna complain DOL in new jersey about this company and does DOL really takes any action.

Well, in your case you don't have to prove anything, your employer has the burden to prove that he gave you "Cash Advance", which he didn't. He is the one deducting from your pay check. Deducting any amount from any pay check is a big deal and employers have the burden of proof. But that's the least of your worries. You are taking about "how will you prove". I am sure you can report this to US DOL and/or NJ dept of Labor. Given a choice, it would be better to report this to US DOL as foreign labor is in the jurisdiction of US DOL. If are willing to report your employer (whom I have many adjectives to describe), I will post the link to DOL website. In the past there were some post on this forum that said that the admin of this site could also help if you want to do something like this. Be ready to change your employer after you report to US DOL. You employer will be toast and will be debarred from filing H1s for few years (practically forever).

First they should give detailed plan out. even then point system is a pain , no benefits till final stage. its good for all right if one has to sit in 25 years waiting for his turn on visa instead of green card... good luck for all who support this. Other countries who use point system compare the numbers... US has far more immigrants than any other country... if point system is open everyone can apply. Your are definitely a EB2 worth candidate. A company willing to support you and a good attorney is all you want. There are plenty who have qualified for EB2 with these qualifications.
Instead of MS, look for a good consultancy or a perm job which will do the trick for you. I do know/understand that it is hard to get consulting jobs and maintaining visa's for family members but look at the bright side, labor nowadays takes only about 3 weeks and 140 if you apply through PP, then you are talking 2 weeks again. You have a possibility to get out of this mess.
If kids from college gets into EB2 and gets GC in two years, You sure do sir...
OK now to members who think I am wrong can bash me but this is what I believe in, if a system can tie you down with stupid rules and no accountability on its workers, I am ok with a deserving candidate cutting the line ahead and getting his GC. Hail common sense.

if GOD only cares abt people who constantly praises god, then muslim countries should do way way better :D they pray so many times a day. nobody follows religion and GOD like muslims do :D, not even hard core christians :D. even hindus pray a lot. 'The soldiers dashed for whatever shelter they could find, and after the rain had passed, some of the men returned to the vicinity of the bonfire to discover that three of the dummies had been consumed by the flames but the effigy of George Washington remained intact, as good as it ever was. The symbolism was not lost on the foreigners; as a British deserter relayed the story, the incident caused a great deal of fear among the Hessian troops, most of whom are very superstitious."
Within twenty-four hours of the bonfire incident, an attack was launched against Washington and his troops on Long Island. The results of which gave the Hessians even more to ponder. The British naval forces attempted to sail up the Long Island sound where they would unload some of their forces and then launch an attack on land, placing Washington and his forces in a pincer trap. However for 24 hours they were unable to sail their ships up the sound because of high winds and waves. Yes, perhaps people don't post these type of investigations. If you have heard any N-400 issues (from your corporate position) about someone caused by leaving the petitioning employer soon after GC then let us know, otherwise it is one of the rarest of rare issues. My attorney clearly mentioned to me that he has seen no such issues in his long career when someone left the employer soon after.
Coming back to the AC21...if someone changes to a similar job after 180+ days after filing I-485 and informs USCIS of it and then gets a GC, there is no question of any wrongdoing. If USCIS wants to do their audit investigations I wouldn't care an iota about their investigations as long as I have the right paperwork with me.
Secondly in a non-AC21 case even if one leaves the job of the petitioning company immedaitely how does the intent become questionable when the person is working for the same company for several (5+) years. On the contrary it would be easy to prove the intent here.
I'm just curious as to how many postings you see on these boards where a persons case has been denied; DOL/USCIS has visited their home; their visa got cancelled by consultate when h-4 went for stamping; got caught in interview lying; DOL investigating companies, etc...

What if USCIS doesnt return the applications , and releases a press note ,s aying that all applications are being accepted , but they would be processed later (not approving EAD and AP). That would be creating more havoc in our lives.
