Apparently in Colorado they verify with some Federal database which should have your I-94 in place. So if the Feds goof up somewhere they expect you to go down to Denver to sort it out.

1. Your spouse can't work . Think about their self esteem and self respect they are loosing.
2. You don't know about your future if tomorrow you loose your job , you will be kicked from this country.

Try to respect others and feel sorry about their situation.

Albeit silly.... I was thinking, Ok... at least now folks here will realize that not in IT but Indians are talented/can shine is many fields and that's the way it is. PennDot Issued 1 year driver's license for both me and my wife. We took H1B 8th year original receipt notice, original employer verification letter and passports. PennDot issued 1 year license based on that. Everything took less than 15 minutes.Please make sure your employer verification letter states your employment duration i.e. how long your company intents to employ you.
