I am not able to find the form needs to be submitted for this purpose. Is there any format that I can type and submit them?

I respectfully disagree, he is the president of USA and to its citizens, you might morally/personally declare him to be your president, but as long as your passport is not from USA you my friend are an alien (not extraterrestrial) living in the US of A :), please dont take this personally I am in the US too, and I got my passport recently renewed, and I had to pledge my allegiance in order to get my passport. AC 21 like no changing of the jobs when 485 pending for more than 6 months....
Bad for consulting companies (no H1B; may lose job)
Bad for physicians (no H1B for medical residents; no provisions for NIW...terrible)
Bad for H1b transfers and extensions (severe restrictive provisions on H1B)
AC 21 repealed (disastrous)
Bad for pending I 140 .... left in limbo
Bad for pending LC .... left in complete limbo
Bad for retrogressed.... backlog will increase phenomenally 'cos of decreased visa numbers
This bill is a massive attack on us; we should put all our efforts to oppose and kill the bill. There is little chance that we can get amendments to reverse the potential damage that this bill can do... that is disaster for us.

They closed this blog because the blog was getting filled with EB GC issues which are not of interest. Here is a 4+ day open WSJ blog (http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2007/10/01/that-was-fast/) on H2B.
BTW, blog post has more effect then email because others can read a post and hence puts more pressure.

We have several sprinkled threads on AP Renewals so this is an effort to create a thread which can capture all AP Renewal Questions & Concerns.
To begin with, i have posted the following question in one of the other AP-threads but did not get much response. So lets beging with clarifying this issue - Gurus please give your 2 cents on this aspect.

My parents are getting old. I am going back in 3 years. Heard from friends, earn enough and go. There will never be enough.
Almost, all of us started here from Nothing. Now we have atleast something to start with. Yes there is always things for Pros and Cons.
I am not worried about GC. Waiting for a good opportunity to jump back to India.
It will be really nice if I can get work from home job from US and settle down in a hill side with nice estate in India. :cool:

Question gurus... I have a xerox copy of my approved I-140. Will this be enough to port the priority date? or do you need the original copy to be submitted along with the new I-140 application when you request portability of older priority date?? please clarify.
Yes. That is suffice. My attorney asked for original and i told him, i have only I140 approval copy. Attorney asked additional proof like pay stubs, w2's from that employer. I submitted copies of pay stubs and w2's from that employer. My case is approved. waiting for the Notice copy. I will come to know once i receive the approval notice whether they ported priority date or not.

I would be as cautious in NYC as I would be in Mumbai, since my adopted town now, and my hometown in India are both not NYC or Mumbai! If I venture out into DC, I would be more cautious than I would be if I went out to buy milk in the 'burbs of NOVA where I live!
